St. John’s River Dock Cable Rails and Spiral Stair

We love how this job came out!

One of the biggest reasons people like cable rails is that they don’t get in the way of a nice view. For this home owner’s second floor dock, that was the key concern. Their second desire was to have a product that held up long-term and required as little maintenance as possible. To achieve this, we used bare aluminum rails that had been sand blasted to achieve a uniform appearance. As a result, this home owner will never have to worry about an exterior coating chipping, fading, or flaking off.

Spiral stairs are popular options for 2nd floor access in an area where saving space is the key goal. All our spiral stairs are custom-built to your specific needs and meet all building codes.

One of the areas where many companies cut corners is with cheap fasteners. For exterior jobs, we only use stainless steel Simpson Strong-Tie screws that won’t corrode over time like the typical blue tapcons that are commonly used in the industry.

Feeney makes a wide assortment of decorative end caps to pair with their cable systems. This home owner chose the stainless steel crown caps that went well with the sand blasted aluminum rails.
